Zone 2e exists to develop Artificial general Intelligence (AI) technology (software, hardware, and processes) to enable twice-exceptional (2e) and gifted students to thrive and achieve their potential.
What is twice-exceptionality (2e)? 2e is an educational psychology designation for a student with cognitively gifted or high-ability intellect and one or more co-occurring learning difference(s) that impact their learning. Both strengths and weaknesses co-exist in the same student.
There are literally hundreds or thousands of ways to be twice-exceptional. For example:

Theoretical Underpinning
In today's educational system (both public and private), 2e students are falling through the cracks at alarming rates because their complex and asynchronous learning needs are often unmet in multiple ways.
Many twice-exceptional students are unidentified because their gifted strengths mask their weaknesses or vice-versa. As a result, these gifted and high ability students may fail to thrive.
Zone 2e implements the Zone of Proximal Development (ZPD), a concept introduced by Lev Vygotsky, a psychologist and educational theorist.
The ZPD describes the range of tasks that a learner can perform with the help of a more knowledgeable person, such as a teacher, and is considered a critical aspect of the learning process. For a twice-exceptional (2e) student, understanding and appropriately addressing their ZPD is essential to provide meaningful educational support.
